• Year 1 Sep 2025 to July 2026:

  • Term 1 - 24 Sep to 14 Dec: Kinematics, Mass, Density, Forces

  • Term 2 - 14 Jan to 5 Apr:  Momentum, Energy, Pressure, Matter

  • Term 3 - 29 April to 19 July: Thermal, Waves, Light, Sound

• Year 2 Sep 2026 to Exams June 2027:

  • Term 4 - Sep to Dec: Electricity, Circuits, Electromagnetism 

  • Term 5 - Jan to Apr: Nuclear, Radioactivity, Earth, Universe

  • Term 6 - Apr to Jun: Alternative to Practical, Revision, Exams

Examinations:

• Paper 2 (Extended subject content) - 45 minutes, 30%, multiple-choice questions

• Paper 4 (Extended subject content) - 1 hour 15 minutes, 50%, Short answer and structured questions

• Paper 6 (Alternative to Practical) - 1 hour, 20%, questions based on experimental skills
